How many different diets have you come across that claim to be the ONE that will finally help you lose weight and keep it off? Answer: probably bazillions! Every time we turn around, there is a new story in the media that claims to have the one-size-fits-all dietary answer to all our body weight woes.
When you actually dive into the cold, hard evidence on the matter, are any of these claims founded? Is there actually a 'best' weight loss and maintenance diet out there? If so, why are so many people struggling to maintain a steady, healthy weight? In this series of articles, I offer an overview of some of the most common dietary strategies that are touted as weight loss solutions and the evidence behind them.
